The sounds of cutlery clashing can be heard all day at the first floor of the Mercato Centrale in San Lorenzo area. The cutlery clashing is more or less a sound we associate with kitchens or restaurants, instead here, I was sitting near the coffee bar during breakfast yet there was no sign of cutlery, only forms of glasses were being served to the customers. Yet the glasses were not clinking or creating a sound. You can hear the nearby stations surrounding the coffee bar clean or use their cutlery.
